The Toronto Port Union DriveTest Centre is located at The Village of Abbey Lane Shopping Centre, 91 Rylander Blvd, Unit 109A, Scarborough (near Kingston Rd and Sheppard Ave E). It serves east Scarborough and the surrounding area, offering road tests on behalf of the Ministry of Transportation. Road test appointments run approximately 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Uphill parking on Durness Ave — wheels turned LEFT (away from curb) when facing uphill, parking brake on. Most GTA centres do not test this; Port Union does.
Kingston Rd lane discipline — hold 50 km/h, yield to TTC buses re-entering traffic, signal all lane changes.
3-point turn on a residential street — check both ways, smooth reverse arc, full stops before and after.
Note (late 2025): The G road test is temporarily modified and currently does not include highway driving at this centre. The highway section below describes the standard G test, for when it resumes.

Uphill parking — still tested; G2 roads are driven first during the G test.
Hwy 401 merge (G only) — accelerate to highway speed on the on-ramp before merging; do not merge at 60 km/h on a 100 km/h highway.
Off-ramp exit — signal and move right well before the exit; decelerate on the ramp, not on the highway.

Durness Ave has an incline specifically used for the uphill parking maneuver. When facing uphill, turn your front wheels AWAY from the curb (left, toward traffic) and engage the parking brake. This is the opposite of downhill parking and is a notable feature of tests at this centre.

Only for the G road test. G2 testers do not use 400-series highways. The G test merges onto Hwy 401 near Port Union, with lane changes and an exit back to Kingston Rd.
